Hajin Lim is a postdoctoral research associate in the People and Robots Lab working on designing and studying the use of new computer-mediated communication (CMC) and conversational-interface technologies for individuals with social and cognitive deficits; particularly for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI), toward increasing social participation and mental wellbeing.

She received her Ph.D. at the Department of Information Science at Cornell University in 2021. Hajin’s primary research interests lie in human-computer interaction, computer-supported collaborative work, and human-AI interaction. She also maintains interdisciplinary interest across communication, cognitive science, and social science.
