My research lies within the intersection of human-computer interaction (HCI), accessibility, and cognitive disabilities. My research focuses on designing and developing supportive technologies for adults with Down syndrome (DS), emphasizing visual and tangible interfaces while incorporating age- and context-considerate content. Before beginning my Ph.D., I received my B.S. in Computer Engineering in 2019 from the University of Idaho and subsequently worked as a Computer Engineer II and Lab Manager before returning to academia. During my second year of graduate school, I began focusing on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) research. I was then awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship (GRFP) to support my dissertation work in accessibility.
